When you get to Jo-Ann or Michael’s do you wish you had remembered to bring your coupon? Do you wish you had another coupon to use? I have a solution. In each of these stores, near the front, there is usually a display with the current flyer. This will give you a 40% off coupon most of the time. It is a big help, especially on those big purchases. It also means that you should buy large items in separate trips. You will save more money if you use more coupons!

What a good idea! we sometimes get coupns in the uk from the till after you paid- if its a good one we go straight back in and use it otherwise it will be forgotten- we saved abut 40% on some nappies (diapers) last time!

None of the Michaels I’ve been to offer extra flyers in the store. However if you ask the cash register person if there was a coupon this week they usualy have a sheet of paper you sign and they will give you the discount. I learned this after complaining to the register person that although I get a paper every sunday and the Michaels is just a few miles from my house, I never have a sale paper.
She then clued me in on this little trick.
