I have more to share, but I thought I would share a few tid bits from our Halloween. I’ve been making lots of fun treats every day this week. I got a lot of my ideas from the Halloween Issue of Family Fun Magazine. They are such a great resource for ideas that are kid friendly. Our fave this week has been the Boo-Tatoes! I also made bone bread sticks. Tonight I’m making spider cakes…these are for a Halloween party.

I’ll have more treat pictures after Halloween that I’ll share.

Baby Girl made the cutest candy scarecrow necklace at school.

And, here are our dress up for school outfits. Conner had to be a book character. He wouldn’t let me paint his face. I came up with the bone at the last-minute and he loved it!

And here is bitty girl in her “kitty” costume :) It worked out well. You may remember the pants from last year!

And, may I add that Sid’s hair is getting so long!  She won’t let me cut it because Princesses have long hair, but the screaming while brushing is killing me :)

I hope all of your little goblins have a wonderful and safe Halloween!!!

Sid is having a costume party at her school on Friday.  I wanted to make sure that she didn’t wear the one she is wearing for Halloween because I didn’t want it to get ruined.  So, I found her some ears and a tail.  She thinks it is a black and white kitty costume…shhhh…I know its a zebra :)   I will probably cut the mane off of the top so that it looks more like a kitty.  I think she is going to wear her halloween shirt and pants with them, and I’ll put some black whiskers on her.

Little Man had his birthday.  We took him to see Where the Wild Things Are.  He loved it, but Sid did not.  He had a great day of play and presents.  Conner is really into Bakugan right now, and his collection grew.  It was a good day, but also a sad day.  Where does all of the time go?

I love to watch the Food Network.  One of my favorite shows is Semi-Homeade with Sandra Lee.  Sandra cooks the way most of us do with packaged products.  She also makes a lot of crock pot recipes.  They are so delicious and easy.  I highly recommend checking her show out.  If you are anything like me, you are always looking for good recipes to use for every day cooking.  Tonight’s dinner is a delicious Colorado Chili.  The Food Network’s website is a great resource for finding recipes easily and for free!

My Little Man is turning 6 soon, I really can’t believe it! We had a small party for him at the Little Gym. It was such a nice time. He had a lot of fun playing with his friends and his sister. He picked Star Wars to be his theme. We had a delicious cake from Publix…I was surprised at how good it really was! The Little Gym is a great place for parties…his party was there last year as well…except in Virginia. They provide all of the plates, forks, balloons and drinks. They provide all of the entertainment. All I had to do was get the birthday boy there. I’ll share pictures from his actual birthday after it happens :) He opened his pre-birthday present at home. We asked the guests not to bring gifts…we wanted it to be all about celebrating and having a good time.
